What I am seeing, listening to and reading at the moment

Last night, we were off to see “Twelve Angry Men” at Orange County Performing Arts Center (thank you Bill and Connie). It was outstanding, but I was stumped as to why it was called “Twelve Angry Men” when really only ten of them are truly angry? It should be called “Ten Angry Men, one old man and one extremely clever and right-thinking architect who probably started taking night school classes at Abraham Lincoln University after the trial, so he could become a D.A.” I guess I see now why Reginald Rose went with just “Twelve Angry Men.” (and… I saw a girl wearing Crocs…to the theatre…Crocs!…I wish she were wearing these instead.)

I am listening to the delightful and happy music of Feist. Won’t you join in?

C1ef750a898addf74c013431f9ccecf2_2I am reading “The Believer Book of Writers Talking to Writers.”
My favorite quote so far, George Saunders, “Pay attention to everything, as if it were your last moment on earth.”
I also liked it when he used the phrase, “Star-Trekky.”
