Fun to do the impossible

I am going to start to work on a treatment for a sitcom I have kicking around in my head and I’m looking for some advise…from you.

Here’s where I am now:

I could write it out at home privately and send it out in standard fashion. I have been doing some reading on the subject (I read on thing about it) and have a basic idea of of formatting and content. The only problem with doing it this way is it will probably just get heaped in a pile of the other gazillion treatments received by the various networks, agents and whoevers. The advantage would be that it would remain unpublished and therefore, unstealable.

My other option is to do it all online, on yet another blog, for all who wish to follow me through it. The upside to this is it would be out there for anyone to read and possibly catch the eye of some honcho or big wig or mucky muck or …. you get the picture. The other plus would be you would be able to see it progress and give opinions and song suggestions (yep!). The darkside of this plan is some swiper could read it and heartlessly steal it.

I am ready to get this started. So, what do you think?
