Best Movie Lines Ever: Painfully clear to me now, I never see movies anymore…
EW.com has made a list of the “Worst Movie Lines Ever”: Here. I really can’t argue that this dialogue from Notting Hill shouldn’t be included.
Tonight, I felt like being positive with a few of what I think are the “Best Movie Lines Ever.” Sorry they are mostly comedies and pretty obscure.
Princess Bride: “As you wish.”
Glory: ““Remember what you see here,” Matthew Broderick.
The Breakfast Club: “I’m not that pristine,” Molly Ringwald.
Roxanne: “I’d rather be with you then be with the best people in the world,” Fred Willard, in his toast.
Billy Jack: “I’m gonna take this right foot and whop you on that side of your face and there’s not a damn thing you’re gonna be able to do about it,” Tom Laughlin.
The Way We Were: “Katie, you push too hard,”” Robert Redford to Barbra Streisand. (She should have listened to him.)
Pink Panther: ““Zats not my dog.”
His Girl Friday: ““I jumped out that window a long time ago Walter.” Rosalind Russell
Annie Hall: ““You know nothing of my work,” Marshall McLuhan. (Yes, I do wish life were like that.)
Rushmore: “O R they?” Jason Schwartzman.
Painfully clear to me now, I never see movies anymore…I think Rushmore is the most recent (1998), truly sorry. I really shouldn’t have any opinion on this subject now that I think about it. You can add your own if you want…
