Arbor Real Estate’s fourth annual ‘House Party’ raised more than $30,000 for The Rob Machado Foundation for their joint initiative Clean Water for Kids. The money raised will go directly to installing FloWater station in every school in the Newport-Mesa school district.
The purpose of the stations is to eliminate single-use water bottles — which pollute our watersheds and oceans — and to give students access to clean, tasty water. The Clean Water for Kids initiative has already funded and installed stations at Newport Elementary School, Ensign Intermediate school, Newport Heights Elementary, all in Newport Beach and Davis Magnet School in Costa Mesa. Water stations are scheduled to be installed at Newport Harbor High School later this month.
Arbor Real Estate’s House Parties has been the sole source of funding the installation of the water stations. Along with the
Rob Machado attended the event that was held at the Arbor offices in Newport Beach. “It’s an honor and privilege to be part of this event and watch what we’ve been able to do in this community with the water stations,” said Machado to the crowd of more than 200 attendees.
I’m beyond proud to be on the committee for Clean Water for Kids and to work side-by-side with the Rob Machado Foundation in their quest to keep our oceans clean and to teach the coming generation to not use single-use plastics.
