Today at the Mexican Day of The Dead Festival at The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. I have a soft spot in my heart for these young Mariachi players.

I once had the opportunity to celebrate the Day of the Dead in a small fishing village in Mexico. My cousin’s husband was born and raised in Mexico City. When we visited, we were able to see the “real” Mexico! Her husband plays in a string quartet called “La Catrina”. If you get a chance, Google it, and look for Daniel Vega Albela….he is my cousin’s hubby!!! Their music is AMAZING:) Let me know what you think.
