Daily Photo: Santa Ana row houses

These row houses are down in a part of Santa Ana I really like, though I don’t know what it’s called. Close to Flora Park, The Bowers, and Harvey’s. I love the fall colors of the buildings. Seattle Daily Photo took this shot of an orange building and called it “Urban Autumn.” When I saw it, swore then and there [and in the comments] that I would find “(Sub)Urban Autumn” in Orange County.

So here it is. These are the sorts of things that occupy my mind while I sit in line-up at my kids’ school.

Today I am listening to: The Weepies’ “I gotta have you.”

You can go to my BLIP.fm Channel to listen to all my songs.

This is totally gorgeous. I love it. It’s winter here, and we’re past these colors and on to tan-and-brown leafless branches, this morning beautifully coated with fluffy white. Yours looks so perfectly Thanksgiving-y, though. You have such a great eye.

You definitely love your home town. The light is amazing, Suz. I think you found a sub-urban your suburban orange. I wonder what ex-surb looks like?

Beautiful image, perfect colour palette. One wishes just to sit on the steps and watch the afternoon go by… Cheers!
