The “phone booth”

April 3, 2009 By: Suzanne Moshenko29 Comments

On our recent trip out to the desert we came along this new contraption that I think is ingenious.  It's called a "phone booth" and they made it so you can talk on your cell phone in privacy. You go inside and it's quiet as a library in there.

Phonebooth
They even give you a place to rest your arm if it gets tired from holding your iPhone.

Today I am listening to ElO's Telephone Line in honor of the industrious men and women who came up with the "phone booth."

You are so funny. You know, they are doing away with pay phones here in Florida…not sure it is the case everywhere.

I think those booths are as big as your imagination. For instance, I would call those “Clothing Adjustment Booths” for unhooked bras, melvins, etc. I know some people who would call those “Intimacy Booths” for getting to know someone really, really well.
    Still others call those Porta-Potties.
