Orange County Daily Photo: Little yellow car

Yellow_car

My Escalade would eat this car for breakfast–like a lemon Pop Tart. They ARE adorable though, aren’t they? I just want to put it in my pocket and take it to home with me.

My friend Blythe found this ultimately pointless feature on the safety of these “little cars” on YouTube. Then Blythe sums it up HERE. She’s a clever one.

Today I am listening to: The Format’s “Inches and Falling.”

Dang girl, you beat me to the punch. I saw 3 of these in one day this week and was going to post about them. I think I can put 2 in the back of my Yukon XL. 😉 Maybe one in the glove box too?

we’ve got some of these in Deep South already too. They’re funny looking, right. Like you should be able to plug them in or stick one of those long plastic things up the tail pipe, rip it out real quick and watch it go.

I love those Smart Cars. There’s a two year wait for them here on the East Coast.

Gesh! Is that in the Circle? Girl, you’ve got to get out more! LOL! You probably don’t “Hang” in my hood in Garden Grove–that’s cool.
I love the photo. These cars are as cute as a button! But, they would get squashed like a button on the 405.

My kids are obsessed with these cars. They have been begging us to buy one, which is a hysterical thought. Can you imagine Wes in this car??? We do play a slug bug type game each time we see one. The kids have to answer a math problem. Get it…smart car???

Yes, aren’t they adorable, so sweet. A guy shouldn’t be caught dead driving one of these. BUt, if they get a giant muffler and a couple of chick mudflaps, that might be okay. Maybe!!!! LOL

I have one of these Smart Cars, that video was a little concerning. I only drive in on surface streets.

Those are neat cars. They have been on the streets in Ontario for a few years now. I thought it strange that they would sell them here first as we get so much snow in the winter months but they do just fine. I see them in all the Mercedes dealerships.
I too drive a larger vehicle, a Sequoia, and I have absolutely no excuse now for driving one as I am not married and have no children and my career does not require it anymore, but I do love the ride. It was even tougher when our fuel jumped over $5.00 a US gallon!
