We went to Palm Springs this weekend. We had a great time and I picked up this great pair of shoes at Oh LaLa on Palm Canyon.

While there, we visited our friends Jim and Melinda (thanks guys!). I discovered Jim and I share similar interests in 1950’s advertisements. Besides being the nicest guy you ever met, he collects very cool menus and postcards from the vintage days of Palm Springs.
Jim introduced us (figuratively, not literally) to an artist that I just loved, known as Shag. I eagerly looked through a few huge books about his work Jim had on his coffee table. I just love it!
Jim has this print called “Desert Polynesia”
