This is my SkyWatch Friday photo for the week. I thought the happy, blue sky would be a welcome sight for some readers in parts of the world that are having dreary, grey skies. Happy Friday from Balboa Island in Orange County.

Great shot, ferris wheels always make for great photos, especially with a blue sky behind.

It is VERY dreary here, so sunshine photos on SWF are very high on list of things I want to see online. And thanks for Picnik, that’s what I used to amp my SWF post up. Real nice.

I love ferris wheels! Predo and I hit one up this summer. It was the size of a Barbie ferris wheel though–so small and we were the only ones on it!

Thanks for sharing some of that sunny California with the rest of us and your thoughts behind it too. The dreary grey is good because then it will be easier to appreciate the sunny moments. Besides I like it cold, too much heat makes me tired.

I’ll post soon my own version of the Big Wheel in Paris.
Nothing to see with your colorfull one! That’s understandable, I’m only in Paris, nothing associated to Orange word here!
I love your blue-gradation. That’s exactly what we need at this time of the year.
