This is my final one. If you haven’t gotten some good ideas from 1-7, maybe this girlie-addition will help or maybe you are just a big ‘ol procrastinator.
I love these Marie Antoinette plates from Rosanna, $40.
(Thanks for the tip Kelly! Please check out all the stuff on this site, so great!)
****Attention Boys**** Look Away*****
This will be like in sixth-grade when they separated the girls from the boys to take them into a room to have THE talk about, “Becoming a young lady.” Well, Mrs. White (my mean, sixth-grade teacher with the gold tooth and too much “Windsong”) wouldn’t have ever told me about this little accessory.
The Girly Tube, at Tres Femine, holds your, well…you-know-what, real pretty-like in a purse. They come in plain (Yuck) $12 or $15 for jeweled (Yeah!) I am getting this for a few friends (the ones with really bad PMS.)
I Love this scarf from Fringe on Etsy.
$64.00
I like giving Tea Towels as hostess gifts. They are something you wouldn’t buy for yourself, but are so nice to have for lining a breadbasket or something else very homey that I would probably never do. I miss April Cornell since they closed their store at Fashion Island. I have this one.
I would rather have something like this then ANYTHING with diamonds. Jill Schwartz Necklaces are unique, handmade and just beautiful.
Some good books to give a gal, May Sarton is one of my favorite women ever. This is a very good book of her poems. My French Life is a great book to give. The Enchanted Broccoli Forest is my all-time favorite cookbook (given to me 15 years ago by my friend Robin.) It has healthy recipes and cute illustrations, click here for peak inside. It is like having a friend teach you how to cook. Anyone would love it. Bundle all three of these together wrapped individually, tied with a ribbon. I tried it and they look good together.
Any three of your favorite books together is a very personal gift and, you know, a great way of exerting your own personal taste on your friends this Christmas.
A magazine subscriptions is a nice gift and usually inexpensive. Of course, Blueprint would be a good choice. Also, W Magazine is one a girl might not think to get for herself, but is fun to read and interesting (I mean really interesting, not this kind of interesting.)
One last thing, wrapping paper, don’t forget this chandelier paper from Rock Scissor Paper Store.
Now****Breath in**** Breath out***** Remember Christmas should be fun.
