The Orange County Register picked up my post below “The (More) Real(istic) Housewives of Orange County” and plopped it right on the front page.
There we are, just out for a day at the (totally awesome) ARTbar and…bam! Front page! So then it just took off…comments came rolling in.. and then…bumped by the Pope…
But then put back up.
Next, the Editor calls…”It’s crazy here.” By the end of the day they had over 9,000 hits! It was a fun piece to write and of course it was all in fun, but take a look at all of the comments here: Read them here…just scroll down…
Wow, Does God exist? Not sure what some of the comments even mean? Some had to be explained to me by aforementioned Editor. But I think it has shown that there is room for talk about “we” housewives. It hit a nerve with people. Some got the humor, some didn’t. And as I’ve said before, the negative stuff rolls off my back, as long as I have the support of my family, friends and people who read me (and like me of course).
Most of the comments were positive and inspire me to keep going. I wish I could respond to each and every one, but might not get ANY sleep tonight if I did..more to come…
That is so awesome! And of course I am way jealous too! But mainly I am so happy for you…..I can’t get the editor to pick up my feed yet. I guess the girl who does the ‘techinical stuff’ is out sick…so it is a lesson in patience for me. Oh so so happy. Hey Vicki and the others are probably gonna be thrilled to be a front page photo too!!!!!! I am running to read the comments now…..
Okay- I read all the comments. Some people are INSANE and have more issues than the research room of the OC Register I think (Ba-Dump-bump)…my favorite was the one where they slam the fact that you didn’t get more dressed up for your impromptu photo! Ya’ I think ya all should have gone to the ART bar in heels and low cut Sky tops…..you would have blended right in….HA!!!!!
That is so great! You should be there. Don’t let the neg stuff get you down…it was almost all positive and good. Some people just don’t have much else to do then shootdown people who are trying to make people laugh and have fun. Cant wait for more.
The comments were insane. Some people really just don’t have lives. Well, I don’t have much a life either, because I spend entirely too much time reading blogs that I actually like, like yours.

Oh my!! The comments..the outrage.. so many angry people. It’s sarcasam folks…gheesh! You really struck a cord. Now I’m off to Michaels(with coupon)to get some scrapbooking supplies. Yes.. we do scrapbook here in the O.C.
