Ben: I was running at school so fast!
Me: Really.
Ben: Yeah, you know when you run so fast and smoke comes out the back of your shoes?
Me: Yes, that IS fast.
Ben: All my friends behind me were coughing and coughing because of all the smoke.
Me: Oh, my.  You are a fast runner.
Ben: Yeah, really fast.

I had some sort of cutesy comment brewing in my head. THEN, I scrolled down and read your post about the Army/Navy Surplus Store. The HAIR? Now I am totally distracted…

There is also nothing like seeing life as a child does in such simple terms. A picture. A straight line. Running fast. Pure joy. Loved that little story!

This picture makes me think about Asterix. Do you know our national comics heroe ? He is a Gaul and a druid prepares him a magical potion to make him stronger. So he can fight the Roman invaders out of Brittany. When he runs, smoke appears too at the back of his sandale.
Do you prepare a magical potion to your son ? Called C*c* C*l* ?
