Received an email from my old friend, Kristy (see her hair, 1985, here), today. She said she heard this song on the radio this morning and thought of me, nothing could have made me happier.

I used to hang out with a girl that got knocked up by the singer of Haircut 100. We all use to hang out at the Odessey in LA and all the english bands would come through there after their gigs. ABC, Haircut, etc. Rodney would show up after his weekend shows on KROQ and hang out. It was a weird time, and place. Those were the days…
