Revolution is just a T-shirt away: Bloggy Couture

This is how something like this happens…You are chatting at lunch with a fellow blogger, not just any blogger, a high-functioning blogger, a productive one, anyway, you are having lunch and you say something like, “Wouldn’t it be great if there were t-shirts for bloggers?”

“Go on,” high-functioning, super performing blogger says…So you shoot your mouth off and suggest t-shirts that would read:

“My friend has a mommy blog I never read. I’m too busy parenting my children.”
“I can tell by the questions you are asking you haven’t been reading my blog.”
“I take pictures of my lunch.”
“Keep talking, you are so blog-worthy.”

You know, along those lines…

Well, then this HFB speeds home in her Navigator and comes up with a name, designs a logo, opens a Cafe Press store, cleans up your ramblings, adds better ones, throws journals and coffee cups to the mix and sends you an email with it all—done!

That HFB is none other than Marcy at The Glamorous Life.. The “mouth-shooter-offer” is me.

Introducing Bloggy Couture.

Believe me, this idea would have gone the way of the “all night doggie wash” idea I had 10 years ago if it weren’t’ for Marcy.

I like the one about taking pictures of my dinner. My friend who has a blog does that…it’s annoying, but it is what she does. She would probaly get me the one that says I never read my friends blog. I hardly do. I read yours more then hers. Don’t tell her…you don’t know who I am. so you can’t i guess.

    You are impossible.
    Stop it.
How about one that says, “anonymous can crawl under his mother’s couch and die for all I care!”
    Kinda harsh I guess…

OK, so the “I can tell by the questions you’re asking you haven’t been reading my blog” sentence has flown out of my mouth more times than I care to admit. So I would def. get one of those, as well as “I don’t read my friends blog” for those people that I’m talking to at the time. Now wouldn’t that be a funny photo op… if my memory card wasn’t full of photos of half-eaten food…
I can’t wait for payday, I’m madly coveting the hoodie!!!
