The Orange County Register has been holding auditions for a new web-based show called “The Juice.” See the story on it Here. They are looking for a host for the short segments about celebrity news and local events that will appear daily on ocregister.com.
I just thought I would have a little fun and guess what could be overheard while prospective hosts waited for their turn to audition…
“I hope my wife doesn’t see this on OCRegister.com, she thinks I’m still a mortgage broker.”
“Now Paula is the one in the middle, right?”
“Are you sure this is how Christiane Amanpour got her start?”
“Am I too late? I just drove in from LA and it took my Prius four hours to get here.”
“Sure hope one of the judges will write me a note for being tardy.”
“I hope they have a tape player, I don’t think “Penny Lover” sounds AS good a cappella.”
“I am totally going to nail this audition and then pig-out on a Jamba Juice.”
“Isn’t this the audition for “The Real Housewives of Orange County” The Musical?”
“OMG! Is that Mickey Rourke? He looks great.”
“Can you please hold my place in line a minute, I have to call my agent and have a “little talk.”
