Today’s Snapshot: The Camp in Costa Mesa

The Camp is in Costa Mesa, right across from The Lab and down the street from prim South Coast Plaza. The Lab and The Camp are alternative shopping centers that both brandish their own distinctive personalities.

Retail cousins, The Camp is like the Phish-loving, organic cotton-wearing one that is always trying to get The Lab to go hiking. But The Lab is always too hung over to get up that early and far too pale to spend that much time outdoors.

I like The Camp, and if you are into vegetarian clothes, raw foods, and serenity, you will too.

Perfect shots again! I think I should write on my stair treads like that:
    IF
    YOU SEE
    SOMETHING SITTING
    AT THE BOTTOM
    TAKE IT UP
    AND
    DON’T
    LEAVE IT FOR
    MOM
    I AM NOT
    YOUR MAID
And I know you secretly wanted to take a picture of Em as she was walking out the door to go to the ER and then you thought ‘oh wow that would be taking this blog thing a little too far’ and so you stopped yourself. But I KNOW you wanted too!

I am all about raw foods and serenity, but what I REALLY want is that wine bottle chandelier. I have just the spot to hang it.
    Vegetarian clothes? Really?
    Your photos are great!

Always tying to get us to do new things, aren’t you?…but, raw foods? Serenity? Phish? I think I like the pale, hung over place better.

You have the eye, that’s for sure. And love the hiking/hung over references. 🙂 It was a fun time. Thanks for all. Hope Em is okay.
